Candle Warmer Lamp Bulbs: Fit, Wattage and Replacement
The small detail worth checking twice.
Candle Warmer Lamp · Editorial guidance
Match the full specification
The socket name is only one part of compatibility. Record the bulb base, bulb type, maximum rated wattage and required voltage from the lamp instructions or rating label. Physical fit alone does not establish suitability.
If the specification is missing, ask the manufacturer using the exact model number. A listing for another lamp from the same brand is not a substitute.
Count included bulbs correctly
Two bulbs in the box can mean one installed bulb and one spare. It does not mean the lamp uses two bulbs at the same time. Check the fixture and package description separately.
Keep any supplied replacement guidance. When comparing models, distinguish the number of bulbs included from the number of sockets and from the power rating of an individual bulb.
Replace only as directed
Follow the manufacturer's procedure for switching off, disconnecting and allowing the lamp to cool before handling the bulb. Use only a compatible replacement at the specified rating.
Do not increase wattage to try to speed up warming. Do not assume that an LED bulb with a similar shape will perform the same heating function as the bulb specified for the warmer.
